Roads closed for visit by the prime minister of Bhutan
The prime minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay is scheduled to arrive in Colombo Today (the 9th of April) for a state visit. Several roads in and around Colombo are scheduled to be closed from the 9th to the 12th in view of this state visit. As we have often stressed the road closure schedules should only be used as an indication because they are not always strictly adherred to. This was certainly the case during the visit by the Emir or Qatar and Prime Minister of India during March. The only reliable way to keep up with the road closures is to use our crowd sourced traffic alert system and please do send in your own traffic reports.
